In order to expand the admissibility of registration forms, an electronic signature is now accepted.
Through the service for registering works online set up in 2014, 415,000 works have been deposited. However, this useful and simple service requires some changes to allow the registration of audiovisual works, works with annexes (arrangements, adaptations, symphonic works, etc.) or published works. For these works, you can use paper forms which can be downloaded in PDF format from sacem.fr/en and sign them electronically.
Registers are receivable subject to proving the reliability of signatures - that is, by using a reliable method of identification by a certified body - in order to avoid any risk of fraud or challenges to the authenticity of signatures.
CERTIFIED BODIES
Many bodies offer electronic signature services that are sometimes insufficient for demonstrating the authenticity of signatures.
Sacem accepts all forms signed with an electronic signature provided by any of the bodies listed below.
