On the eve of his Olympia concert, Al Jarreau was honoured by Sacem in front of a full house this Monday evening.
The singer, winner of 7 Grammy Awards in three categories (jazz, pop, and R&B) during his brilliant career, was welcomed to the stage with a lengthy round of applause before being presented the "Inspiration and Voice" medal by another musical giant Michel Legrand.
A French documentary by Thierry Guedj, Al Jarreau l'Enchanteur / The Magical Voice of Al Jarreau, will be aired on France O at 23.45 on 1st January 2017.
