The International Animated Film Festival is preparing for a 100% digital edition.
In accordance with the measures taken to combat the Covid-19 epidemic, the 2020 on-site edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival has been cancelled, however the organisers are currently preparing "Annecy 2020 Online" to allow access to the works, as well as exclusive and unreleased content.
Although part of the festival's programme has been postponed to 2021 (60th anniversary and tribute to animation on the African continent), the majority of the selection of the best of animation from 2020 will be available on the platform currently under construction.
TWO PRIZES FOR THE BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC IN THE OFFICIAL SELECTION
The Festival received more than 3,000 films, all categories combined, from 94 countries (the most represented: France, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, China, and South Korea).
Among the 200 or so films in the official selection, every year, Sacem rewards the best original music in the short and feature film categories.
